This is about the beauty of one of the place in the Queen City of the South-Cebu: SAMBOAN.It's beauty and the story behind it.

     It takes 4 to 5 hours from Cebu City to finally reach the town of Samboan.Just like with the other towns,Samboan also has it's own festival with they called "Sak-Sak Festival".They Celebrate it during the feast of their patron Saint Michael Archangel on the month of September. During this event there are also dancings just to honor and thank their Patron for all the blessings they received.

     Samboan's some historical spots during spanish era are their very own "Jacob's Ladder" ,Watch Tower,and their Church.


 

Used as a bell tower and watchtower to guard against muslem raiders. built in 1798 under the supervision of Fr. Toribio Gerzon.

Built in 1878 during the term of Fr. Toribio Gerzon. This manunggol stone stairs provides easy access for the residents coming from the coastal areas up to the church ground.
   

 Speaking of some beautiful sceneries Samboan also pridely represents their waterFalls.I know some of it namely "DAO FALLS" of Suba,"AGUINID FALLS" of  Tangbo and many more
